Explore Heartwood
Crafted for this time,
this place
Good morning. It’s Saturday and Heartwood is calling you to, well, do whatever you like. Bike a trail. Explore the forest. Hit a yoga class. On the other hand, walking for coffee and a pastry might be your preferred wakeup call. Heartwood’s eateries, shops and services are growing in number, and so are community events from 5Ks to holiday tree lightings. So yes, weekends are amazing, but remember Monday’s not so bad either when you live this close to superb schools and rock-solid employers like Hyundai, FedEx and St. Joseph’s/Candler.

Outfitters Village
Let the adventure begin
It all starts here at Heartwood’s new-fashioned town square. Come say hi, grab some info and trail maps, and start your discovery tour. At Outfitters, you can start envisioning your future at the community pool and playgrounds, jumping to summer concerts, and sampling all of Outfitter Village’s delightful restaurants and shops to come. (Bleu Coat Kitchen’s already here. Get hungry below.)

Grab a bite at Bleu Coat Kitchen
How about crispy bacon, apple and melty brie on fresh-made ciabatta? Whatever sandwich, salad or snack you choose, don’t forget to end your meal with a scoop of Leopold’s ice cream, a local favorite. Bleu Coat serves breakfast too … dessert optional, but we say why not? Chef Christian Heninger’s elevated comfort food is available Monday through Friday, from 8am–2pm.
